Is hardware really included?
Yes. Wearable buttons, fixed buttons, and app-based activation are all included in the Crisis Clarity subscription. No separate hardware purchase, no per-device fees.
Do I have to buy everything at once?
No. Crisis Clarity is the foundation — start there. Add daily-use modules as needed. Most schools start with Crisis Clarity + Active Check-In and add modules over time.
What does "per staff/month" mean exactly?
You're billed based on the number of staff members at your school — teachers, administrators, front office staff, and other personnel. It's billed annually, not monthly. There's also a connection fee that covers onboarding, campus mapping, and system support. For schools with 50+ staff, this is a one-time fee. For smaller schools, it's an annual fee to ensure full service coverage.
What about the district trial campus offer?
Districts evaluating Active Defender can receive the full platform — every module, all hardware, full onboarding — deployed on one campus for one year at no cost. This is a real deployment, not a limited trial. Book a demo to discuss eligibility.
